I have some cool clients.
A few nonprofits have worked with me for several years. More commonly, an individual has taken me with them as they’ve job hopped to different nonprofits.
For me it’s always been more about the people than about the specific cause.
Some auctioneers are keen to support a particular charity because of the work that organization does. For me, I may or may not be particularly interested in a nonprofit’s cause on a personal level. But I am always keen to work with an Auction Chair who has a fire in her belly to improve the fundraising auction.
I just like to hang out with those who are excited about their events and curious to try new things! 🙂
Which leads me to one of my newest clients, the Japan-America Society of Hawaii.
This group found me when their event manager signed up for one of my training webinars. We worked together at their Holiday Auction earlier this month. Yesterday, I received this package in the mail.
Here’s what was inside.
