To encourage social media posts at your fundraiser (and perhaps promote an auction sponsor), consider a photo selfie frame.
I’ve written before about the many ways photography can be used at fundraising auctions to provide an entertainment outlet.
Here are two ways nonprofits are using photo selfie frames.
=================
1. Photo selfie frames can cross-promote your nonprofit and another organization.
ONEHOPE Wine has a photo selfie frame its Boston representatives take to its events.
A permanent holder at the bottom of the prop is designed to hold a piece of paper with the nonprofit’s and/or event’s name. The paper is slipped out and replaced as the team moves the prop around town.
And of course, guests are encouraged to hold a bottle of ONEHOPE Wine as representatives from the company snap your photo.
The photo selfie frame thereby cross-promotes both ONEHOPE Wine and the nonprofit.
If you make your own frame, you could add the logo of an auction sponsor or underwriter, thereby adding a unique benefit for the right company.

2. Photo selfie frames that promote your nonprofit only
If you’re not into sharing, design your own branded photo selfie frames.
You can find several “how to make photo selfie frames” online.
Alternatively, the company making the rest of your event signage can produce it.
At an event I worked in New York (see the second photo), the photo selfie frame was positioned between the registration desk and the entrance to the silent auction. A backdrop of flowers was available.

Have you used this prop at your event?
