Do you know what a Procurement Party is?
Procurement parties are a series of brainstorming activities held with an acquisitions team, with the goal of generating new items to can be sold in a fundraising auction.
They are often held when a committee is new to auctions, bored with their existing items, or just overwhelmed on how to secure fresh donations.
How was it run? The committee would assemble in a room. I’d take them through brainstorming exercises designed to generate item ideas within their community. By the end of the procurement party, we would have listed new concepts for packages, unearthed possible donors, and refreshed tired / old items.
This class is my version of a Procurement Party conducted via Zoom.

Video training: A 100-minute video training whereby I teach procurement trends and tips for 2025- Revamped Auction Item Guide: A re-organized, special version of the 2024 Auction Item Guide that serves as a complementary workbook to the video training
- Video discussion: A 100-minute video of the class discussion. This includes an activity whereby I take the class through a version of a Procurement Party they can lead with their own committee. Q&A then follows.
- Bonus: A list of consignment companies and their respective trips that are popular among my clients
