Last Thursday a big box arrived on my doorstep. Unlike so many of the packages I receive, I had to sign for this one.
I didn’t know what was in it.
After the UPS truck pulled off, I investigated. I couldn’t remember ordering anything that would require such a large box. Plus, it was heavy.
I cut the tape to see what was inside. I saw two Styrofoam containers. And then I removed the lid of the Styrofoam container.
Aha! I immediately remembered a call I’d received from a consignor who wanted me to sample his latest offering.
Watch the video to see the uncrating of Italian wine.
Auction consignment has traditionally been focused on trips and experiential packages, but this wine lot could be a good fit for some groups.

This was most informative because I have been hired to coordinate a fundraising non-profit gala event in December. I have contacted the business who donated the Tuscan Wines to work with us for a auction item. I have also been a huge fan of all your other videos tutorial on planning a virtual/hybrid galal during this pandemic year.

Glad it was timely for you, Laura! And good luck with the December event. I thought the wine was an interesting twist. If you decide to use it, you’ll have to let me know how it works for you.
